LabApp

LabApp is a research software marketplace for universities and academic institutions around the world. Put simply, it is about designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Related areas on their profile: Marketplace and Universities. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

LabApp is based in New York, New York. Their site is labapp.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with LabApp, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
