Kolu

Kolu is a mobile application that brings tourists together with local tour guides based on three interests. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Business Travel, Leisure, Mobile, Mobile Apps and Tour Operator. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Kolu is based in New York, New York and around since 2017. Their site is koluapp.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
