KnowTechie

KnowTechie is a tech blog for people who love tech but live outside the bubble. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Communities, Content, Digital Media, Media and Entertainment and News. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

KnowTechie is based in Boston, Massachusetts and founded in 2005. Their site is knowtechie.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
