Kalexo

Kalexo provides unified collaboration tools to project-intensive industries such as design, architecture, engineering and construction. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Architecture, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Kalexo is based in Burlingame, California. You can read more at kalexo.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
