Ion Microsystems

Ion Microsystems specializes in video hosting, live streaming, video content management, video transcoding and social network integration. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Digital Media and Video Streaming. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Ion Microsystems is based in Miami, Florida. You can read more at ionmicrosystems.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Ion Microsystems, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
