INVIVIA

INVIVIA is a design consultancy and technology research company. In practice that means designing and building websites and web apps.

Who is it for? Mostly companies that need a site that works and ranks. They also list Web Design, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

INVIVIA is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts and founded in 1999. Their site is invivia.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
