InterWorx

Here is InterWorx in plain terms. The InterWorx Web Control Panel is a Linux based dedicated server and VPS web hosting control panel. In practice that means running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

It makes the most sense for developers and businesses of every size. Related areas on their profile: Sales and Web Hosting. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

InterWorx is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their site is interworx.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
