Instead

Instead is a micro-donation application that allows its users to purchase less and give the remaining proceeds to charity. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Instead is based in Dallas, Texas. You can read more at instead.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Instead, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
