Insight provides software, cloud computing, credit reports, lending application processing, and real-time data services. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Cloud Computing and Cloud Data Services, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Insight is based in Santa Rosa, California and around since 2011. Their site is insight.tm.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
