iMedia

iMedia offers a range of web and mobile application engineering and data visualization solutions. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Related areas on their profile: Big Data, iOS and Mobile. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

iMedia is based in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Their site is myimedia.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
