Ignition

Ignition is a software development company that provides online payments, navigation routing, and mobile app development services. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Developer APIs, GPS, iOS and IT Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Ignition is based in Fairfield, Connecticut. Their site is marketing.thisisignition.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Ignition, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
