HXR Drilling Services

HXR Drilling Services is a drilling engineering company that provides extended-reach drilling, software, and training services. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Industrial Engineering and Project Management. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

HXR Drilling Services is based in The Woodlands, Texas. Their site is hxrdrillingservices.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
