Hostchain

Hostchain offers a wide range of cloud web hosting and cloud VPS services to small and medium-sized businesses. In practice that means designing and building websites and web apps.

The natural audience is companies that need a site that works and ranks. Alongside the main category they mention Cloud Computing and Web Hosting. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Hostchain is based in San Francisco, California and founded in 2001. Their site is hostchain.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
