Hki

Hki is a manufacturer that develops inventory and shipping container tracking systems for port, rail, shipping and industrial sectors. The job it does: solving a specific business problem with software.

It makes the most sense for teams in its space. They also list Consumer Electronics and Manufacturing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Hki is based in Canyon, California and around since 2002. You can read more at hkisystems.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
