Helen's Foundry

Helen's Foundry is a software platform that provides business software development solutions for early-stage startups. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Helen's Foundry is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Their site is helensfoundry.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
