Hatchery

Hatchery specializes in designing, implementing and maintaining business applications. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Hatchery is based in Redwood City, California. Their site is hatchery.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
