Hampton Roads Transportation

Hampton Roads Transportation provides operational service, maintenance, and dispatch for cabs and taxis of various companies. Put simply, it is about designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Commercial, Mobile Apps, Taxi Service and Transportation, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Hampton Roads Transportation is based in Norfolk, Virginia and around since 1984. You can read more at hrtitaxi.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
