HackRU

HackRU is a boot camp program conducted by Rutgers University for students focusing on software and hardware. Put simply, it is about delivering courses and tracking who completed what.

It makes the most sense for HR, training teams and educators. They also list Consulting and Training, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

HackRU is based in New Brunswick, New Jersey and founded in 2011. More on hackru.org.

Before you commit, look at content formats, quizzes, certificates, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with HackRU, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
