GNUtransfer

GNUtransfer provides web design and development, VPS hosting, software setup, system management, security backup and maintenance services. The job it does: designing and building websites and web apps.

Who is it for? Mostly companies that need a site that works and ranks. They also list Telecommunications, Web Design, Web Development and Web Hosting, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

GNUtransfer is based in Atlanta, Georgia. You can read more at gnutransfer.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

The facts above come from public company records. The score will come from people like you. Used GNUtransfer? Rate it.
