GlobeRanger

GlobeRanger is a RFID edgeware solution provider that enables companies to harness data to improve business processes. The job it does: planning and tracking goods from supplier to customer.

It makes the most sense for manufacturers and distributors. Related areas on their profile: RFID and Supply Chain Management. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

GlobeRanger is based in Richardson, Texas and founded in 1999. Their site is globeranger.com.

Before you commit, look at supplier portals, forecasting, and ERP integration. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
