GetThis

Get This is an app that provides a second-screen experience by linking purchasable content to the TV shows viewers are watching. That is the short version of GetThis. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list E-Commerce, Enterprise Applications, Media and Entertainment and Video, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

GetThis is based in Playa Del Rey, California and around since 2011. Their site is getthis.tv.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with GetThis, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
