Genscape

Genscape, a DMGT company, is a leading global provider of energy information for commodity and financial markets. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Energy, Intelligent Systems and Real Time, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a mid-sized company team themselves (201 to 500 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

Genscape is based in Louisville, Kentucky and around since 1999. Their site is genscape.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
