GameSalad

GameSalad is a development platform that enables anyone to create their own games with a visual programming interface. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Related areas on their profile: Content, iOS and Mobile. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

GameSalad is based in Austin, Texas. Their site is gamesalad.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
