four kitchens

Four Kitchens is a web design, development and strategy firm that builds beautiful and innovative solutions using open-source software. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Consulting, Developer APIs, Software Engineering, UX Design and Web Design, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a mid-sized team, 51 to 200 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

four kitchens is based in Austin, Texas. Their site is fourkitchens.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
