Forte Systems

Forte Systems is an IT services firm that provides consulting, software application development, and outsourcing solutions to businesses. Put simply, it is about assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

Who is it for? Mostly companies without a full security team. Related areas on their profile: Consulting, IT Management and Security. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Forte Systems is based in Walnut Creek, California and around since 1985. Their site is forte-systems.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Forte Systems, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
