Forest Metrix

Forest Metrix provides an easily-customizable tablet and smartphone apps for tree, forest, and ecological inventories. Put simply, it is about designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Service Industry. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Forest Metrix is based in Thetford Center, Vermont. Their site is forestmetrix.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
