Fokus

Fokus is a mobile app development company. Smart analytics, hints & monitoring tool. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Analytics and Mobile, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Fokus is based in Brooklyn, New York and around since 2012. Their site is getfokus.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
