FM Associates

FM Associates is a software company that provides custom FileMaker relational database software. The job it does: storing and querying application data reliably.

The natural audience is developers and data teams. Related areas on their profile: Database. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

FM Associates is based in Pleasanton, California. Their site is fmassociates.biz.

Our checklist for this category: managed options, backups, and scaling costs. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with FM Associates, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
