Flipstone Technology

Flipstone Technology is a software services consultancy and startup incubator. Put simply, it is about designing and building websites and web apps.

Who is it for? Mostly companies that need a site that works and ranks. Alongside the main category they mention Web Design and Web Development. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Flipstone Technology is based in Austin, Texas. Their site is flipstone.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
