Flexible Information Systems

Flexible Information Systems provides software development solutions for printing and bar code label scanning. Put simply, it is about running an online store from catalog to checkout.

It makes the most sense for retailers and brands. They also list Printing and Retail, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Flexible Information Systems is based in Needham, Massachusetts and around since 1989. Their site is labelvision.com.

Things worth asking about: transaction fees, themes, and app ecosystem. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
