Flat

Flat is a teamwork application that helps to collaborate and stay organized. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Flat is based in New York, New York. You can read more at flat.app.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Flat, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
