Flat Black Films

Flat Black Films is an animation and software company. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Flat Black Films is based in Austin, Texas. You can read more at flatblackfilms.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
