First Step Internet

First Step Internet provides various services like fixed wireless internet, fiber internet, and multi-tenant Ethernet. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. Alongside the main category they mention Telecommunications. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

First Step Internet is based in Moscow, Idaho and around since 1989. You can read more at firststepinternet.com.

Before you commit, look at response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
