Fire Rescue Systems

Fire Rescue Systems provides software and hardware solutions for fire departments, EMS, and ambulance services. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Hardware. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Fire Rescue Systems is based in Hauppauge, New York. Their site is firerescuesystems.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
