FINOS

FINOS is a non-profit foundation with Wall Street roots, setting out to build a new open source innovation model for fintech. The job it does: accepting cards, bank transfers and wallets online or in person.

Who is it for? Mostly any business that takes money. They also list Banking, Developer Platform, Finance, Financial Services and FinTech, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.
