Field e Fex

Field e Fex is a software company that provides web application solutions for material procurement for field personnel. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Construction, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Field e Fex is based in Rochester, New York. Their site is fieldefex.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
