Field Data Technology

Field Data Technology provides administrative and IT solutions to the federal government. Put simply, it is about writing and editing documents together with comments and versions.

It makes the most sense for teams that produce a lot of documents. They also list Consulting and Document Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Field Data Technology is based in Fairfax, Virginia. Their site is fielddatatech.com.

Things worth asking about: offline access, permissions, and export formats. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Field Data Technology, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
