Excelsior Consulting Group

Excelsior Consulting Group offers ERP systems implementations, project management, custom application development and consulting services. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

The natural audience is small and mid-sized companies. They also list Consulting, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Project Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Excelsior Consulting Group is based in Fairfax, Virginia and founded in 1998. You can read more at excelsior-consulting.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Excelsior Consulting Group, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
