Essential Systems

Essential Systems specializes in systems integration, custom software development, firewalling, system monitoring, and network security. The job it does: assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

The natural audience is companies without a full security team. Alongside the main category they mention Network Security. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Essential Systems is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their site is essensys.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

Every review on Revaw shows how it was verified, so if you know Essential Systems well, your review carries weight here.
