ESI

ESI provides recruiting and placement services for application engineering, CAD, software and IT professionals. The job it does: managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. They also list Consulting, Recruiting and Staffing Agency, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

ESI is based in Lexington, Massachusetts and founded in 1983. Their site is enginuitysearch.com.

Before you commit, look at response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

The facts above come from public company records. The score will come from people like you. Used ESI? Rate it.
