enVista

enVista provides businesses with supply chain management, transportation, retail services, and information technology solutions. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list E-Commerce Platforms, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a mid-sized company team themselves (201 to 500 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

enVista is based in Carmel, Indiana and around since 2002. Their site is envistacorp.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
