Emergent Discovery

Emergent Discovery offers technologies that provide users with personalized music recommendations, content, commerce, and community. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Ediscovery and Music. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Emergent Discovery is based in Portland, Maine. Their site is emergentdiscovery.com.
