Electric Imp

Electric Imp provides a secure IoT platform, connecting cloud services with the real world. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Cloud Data Services, Cloud Infrastructure, Hardware and Internet of Things. As a mid-sized company team themselves (51 to 200 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

Electric Imp is based in Los Altos, California and around since 2011. Their site is electricimp.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

Every review on Revaw shows how it was verified, so if you know Electric Imp well, your review carries weight here.
