EcTownUSA

Company has designed technologies and services for Chambers of Commerce, Municipalities and Associations who need to improve commerce. That is the short version of EcTownUSA. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Ad Network and Communities, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

EcTownUSA is based in Quincy, California and around since 2004. Their site is chambernation.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with EcTownUSA, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
