DROSTE Software

DROSTE Software specializes in the retail software industry. Put simply, it is about ringing up sales in person and syncing them with inventory.

The natural audience is shops, restaurants and pop-ups. They also list Point of Sale and Retail, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

DROSTE Software is based in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Their site is drostesoftware.com.

Things worth asking about: hardware, offline mode, and processing fees. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
