DPDK

Here is DPDK in plain terms. A Linux Foundation Project, developed by hundreds of contributors, supported by strong leading members, and used in a growing ecosystem. Put simply, it is about solving a specific business problem with software.

It makes the most sense for teams in its space. They also list Communities and Non Profit, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

DPDK is based in San Francisco, California. You can read more at dpdk.org.

Before you commit, look at pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

Nobody has reviewed DPDK on Revaw yet. If you use it, your rating goes first, and it takes about twenty seconds.
