Downtown Computer

Downtown Computer renders cloud, IT management, data backup, networking, security, disaster recovery and business continuity services. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. They also list Cloud Computing and IT Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Downtown Computer is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and around since 1995. More on downtowncomputers.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
