Dotcom

Dotcom is a software system company that develops custom applications for IT departments, commercial accounts, and application services. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention IT Management. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Dotcom is based in Fremont, California. Their site is dotcom.us.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
