DocuCentric

DocuCentric is an adobe engagement platform. In practice that means writing and editing documents together with comments and versions.

Who is it for? Mostly teams that produce a lot of documents. Alongside the main category they mention Document Management. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

DocuCentric is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their site is docucentric.com.

Things worth asking about: offline access, permissions, and export formats. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
