Discover Alpha

Discover Alpha offers technology solutions, advisory, and strategy consulting services in product engineering and data governance. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. Alongside the main category they mention Big Data, Data Governance, Education, Financial Services and Health Care. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Discover Alpha is based in Chicago, Illinois. Their site is discoveralpha.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
